McCARTHY (née Carr), Veronica (Sutton, Dublin and formerly of Fanad, Donegal) - October 3, 2017 (peacefully) at home after a long illness, much loved wife of Peter, mother of Sinéad, Ronán, Correne (deceased), Áine and Deirdre, brothers Patrick, Hugh and Denis, sisters Mary Berchmans (deceased), Anne-Marie, Margaret, Maria and Bridget, son-in-law Diarmuid and daughter-in-law Julie and grandson Ben, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand this (Thursday) evening from 6.00pm until 8.00pm with family in attendance. Requiem Mass at 10.00am tomorrow (Friday) morning in Church of the Resurrection, Bayside. Funeral thereafter to St. Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.
