FITZGERALD, Michael Geoffrey (Dun Laoghaire and formerly Sligo) July 26, 2021. Following a short illness, peacefully, surrounded by his family, in the care of the Blackrock Hospice. Loving husband of the late Margaret and wonderful father to the late Dee, predeceased by brother Roddy and sister Joan. Michael will be missed every day by his daughter Eileen, son-in-law Mark, grandchildren Seán, Dara, Lily and Rosie, great-grandson Luca, Seán's partner Megan, relatives and friends in Dublin and Sligo. Due to government restrictions, a family funeral will take place privately. The Funeral Mass can be viewed at 11am tomorrow (Thursday the 29th July) using the following link: https://www.funeralmass.ie/live-stream .
