PRENTICE, (Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin) February 3, 2018, (peacefully) in St. Vincent’s Hospital after a short illness, in his 85th year, David, beloved husband of Valerie, devoted father of Kim, Trudy and Simon, adored “gandy” of Natalie, Tom, James, Lauren, Rania and Imran and much loved father-in-law to David, Andrew and Thaiba; He will be missed dreadfully by us all. Funeral Service on Thursday in St. Matthias Church, Church Road, Killiney at 12 noon followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to Irish Cancer Research.

I send heartfelt sympathy to Valerie and the whole family. It seems so long ago - memories of outings together in a much quieter Dublin. His talents and wonderful attitude will indeed be missed by all who knew him.
