HOULIHAN, Joan Catherine (née Mulhern), (Omagh, Co. Tyrone and Ennis, Co. Clare.), Thursday March 23, 2017 at 6.30pm. Beloved wife of Michael, on their 50th anniversary year, (peacefully) after a short illness in the company of her family. Mother to Maeve, Brian and Kate, mother-in-law to Esther and Richard, and abuella to Isabel and Oscar. Sister to Aileen, Ann (R.I.P.), Mary and John Hughes, Felix and Gemma (R.I.P.), and John and Mona Mulhern in Winnipeg. Sister-in-law to Mary (R.I.P.) and Pat Murphy (R.I.P.), Ooneen and Frank Fitzgerald, Desmond and Helen, Peter and Liz, and Deirdre Houlihan. Physiotherapist, aunt, cousin, and above all, friend. In celebration of a wonderful life and in gratitude for the care and kindness of the staff of SVPH and a wide circle of family and great friends in Ennis, Kilkee, Dublin and beyond. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Sunday) March 26 at Ennis Pro Cathedral at 1pm followed by cremation on Monday at 2 pm in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin. House private.
