TORSNEY (Mary) (died August 17, 2004) - Widow of Peter Torsney, late of Coulson Avenue, Rathgar, Dublin 6. The family of the late Mary Torsney (née Kennedy) of Toor, Newport, Co. Tipperary, wish to express their deep appreciation to all those who sympathised on their recent bereavement. Her sons Denis, Gerard (Gerry) and Timothy together with daughters-in-law Theresa and Phil, and grandchildren Paul, Sinead, Muireann, Suzanne, Sam, Emily and Robert acknowledgement how much that solace has meant in their hour of loss. A special word of thanks to the sisters, staff and residence of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Garville Avenue, with whom Mary spent her last days. Throughout the years Mary enjoyed the companionship of many relatives and friends, as a child in the country, a young women in America, participant of the family business in the Dawson Lounge, in the sixties and seventies and always in her family life into rip old age.
