SHIELDS (née Murphy) (Knockanima, Lake Road, Loughrea, Co. Galway) - January 19, 2015, Catherine (Kitty), pre-deceased by her husbands Tommy and Dan, her daughter Anne, devoted mother of sons Vincent, Stephen, Tommy, Dan and Andrew, daughters Mausi, Dottie and Hattie; sadly missed by her sisters Breeda and Carmel, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Reposing in her residence this (Tuesday) evening from 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock. Funeral cortege arriving at St. Brendan's Cathedral Loughrea tomorrow (Wednesday) morning for Requiem Mass at 12 o'clock followed by burial in The New Cemetery Athenry. Family flowers only by request, donations if so desired to Galway Hospice Foundation. House private on Wednesday morning by request.
