O'FARRELL, (née O'Flaherty) Maura (Whitestrand Road and formerly of Dominick Street, Galway) June 1, 2025 (peacefully) at the Galway Clinic with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Michael and mother of the late Michelle. Deeply loved and mourned by her son Gerard, daughters Catriona, Olivia, Jacinta and Caroline, daughter-in-law Sharon, sons-in-law Seán Connaughton, Dermot Burke, Kevin Clery and Michael Walsh and by her adored grandchildren Lara, Aislinn, Michael, Joe, Saoirse, Rhian, Devlin, Daragh, Robert, Jack, Dylan, Ava and Lauren of whom she was immensely proud. Sadly missed also by her much loved brother and sisters Micheál, Ailish Shannon, Deirdre Murray and Hilda Fitzgerald, relatives and friends. A devoted mother and grandmother, sister, aunt and godmother. The eldest daughter of the late Michael and Bridie, sister of the late Christy, Jimmy, Carmel and Stanley, sister-in-law of the late Harry, Bernie, Josephine and Mary. Thursday, 5 June, 2025 - Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Friday, 6 June, 2025 -Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Maura at 11 a.m. on arrival at St. Mary's Church, The Claddagh. Following Mass she will be laid to rest with Michael and Michelle in the New Cemetery, Bohermore (H91V97C). Reunited again. Mass will be livestreamed. ‘And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand’ "Requiescat in pace"
