ARNOTT Professor Eric John FRCS - aged 82, peacefully at home on December 1. Ophthalmic Surgeon and pioneer of modern cataract surgery. Devoted husband to Veronica. Father of Stephen, Tatiana and Robert and father-in-law to Kathy, Nicholas and Kate. Much loved grandfather to Timothy, Oliver, Natasha, Lara, Telisa, Isabella, Oscar, Elke, Hugo and Sienna. Family funeral service at St Mary's, East Worldham, GU34 3AS. Flowers to Charles Read & Daughter, Alton, Hampshire GU34 1AG. A memorial service at Lincoln's Inn will be announced at a later time.
