MacGABHANN, Tony (Smith), (Pemberton, Herbert Road, Bray) - On the First Anniversary of Tony's death, his wife Margaret, daughters Sorcha and Aoife and the extended family wish to convey our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised and supported us, our relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues, those who attended the funeral, travelled long distances, sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy and made donations to the Irish Cancer Society. We are particularly grateful to Arlene, who was so kind and caring in nursing Tony at home, Prof. Des Winter, Mr. Donal Maguire, Dr. Eoin Tiernan and their teams, Nurse Reg, the nursing staff and Pastoral Care in St. Vincent's Private Hospital, Prof. John Ryan SVUH, the ambulance personnel, Wicklow Palliative Home Care, Wicklow District Nurses, Dr. Cyril McNulty and Dr. Judy McNulty. Thanks also to Fr. Larry Behan and Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they arranged the funeral. Lastly, our deepest thanks to a much loved son-in-law, Gary, who facilitated Tony's needs with thoughtful compassion. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that you will accept this as an expression of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
