O'MEACHAIR, Phil, (Clontarf) - July 2, 2017, former C.E.O., The Irish Wheelchair Association, (peacefully), following a short illness at Beaumont Hospital, beloved husband of the late Maeve and loving father to Eoin, Niall, Cliona and Roisin; he will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Mary, brothers-in -law Robert Gahan, Kai Gahan, his eight grandchildren, extended family and many friends. May He Rest in Peace. Removal from Frank Jennings Funeral Home, Greendale Road, Foxfield this (Wednesday) morning to St. John the Baptist Church, Clontarf Road. Funeral Mass celebrating Phil's life at 11.30 am followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Nazareth House Nursing Home, Malahide Road or the Irish Wheelchair Association, Clontarf.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

O'MEACHAIR, Pilib, (Phil), Clontarf, Dublin 3 - As we remember Phil on his First Anniversary, Eoin, Niall, Cliona and Roisin wish to express their gratitude to all who sympathised and supported us during his short illness and on his passing. Our thanks to all who called, visited, sent cards and travelled to attend his funeral Mass. We would like to thank all the staff of St. Laurence's Ward in Beaumont Hospital and the staff and clergy of Nazareth House Nursing Home, who looked after Dad so well in his last year and to all Dad's friends from Clontarf and the Irish Wheelchair Association who called to see him, he always enjoyed your visits. Thanks also to his Tipperary family in Twomileborris, and around the country who kept in touch over the years. A special thanks to Phil's much loved grandchildren, our extended family and friends, your help and support was incredible. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions."Beir bua's Beannacht"
