HERITY (Dublin) - January 23, 2016, (peacefully), after a short illness bravely borne, Michael, Professor Emeritus, University College Dublin, beloved husband of Berna and loving father of Michael, Bairbre, Niall and Emer; sadly missed by his sisters Ita and Kay, daughters-in-law Caroline and Emma, sons-in-law Brian and Andrew, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Removal today (Tuesday) to St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount arriving at 5pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10 o'clock followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to St. Vincent de Paul (www.svp.ie) Or Fr. Peter McVerry Trust (www.pmvtrust.ie).Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis
