COFFEY - Dr Brian (Blackrock, Cork and Tralee Co. Kerry) (Acknowledgement and First Anniversary, February 2, 2023) - On the first anniversary of Brian's death, his beloved wife Maud, children Niamh, John, Mary-Louise and the late Aoife, wish to acknowledge with deep appreciation the expressions of love and support received. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff in St Brigid’s Ward and ICU in Mercy University Hospital, especially Dr Avila, Professor Vaughan, Dr Jane McCarthy and Dr Siun Burke, all of whom took exceptional care of Brian with kindness and compassion.
Thanks to Brian's wonderful colleagues, friends and patients in Medigroup for all the support, kind words, Mass cards and letters. Thank you to extended family, friends and neighbours for their kindness and support. In particular Maud's friends John and Renee McCarthy, Sarah and Pat O'Flaherty, Mary Jermyn, Vourneen and John O'Hanlon and Margaret O’Riordan.
Thanks to those who travelled to attend the Funeral, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, shared happy memories of Brian and sent online condolences. Sincere thanks to O'Connor's Funeral Home and Gleasure’s Funeral Home Tralee for their professionalism and empathy. Sincerest thanks to Father John Manley for his comfort, guidance and beautiful Funeral Mass that was a celebration of Brian’s life, his devotion to medicine, his role as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.
As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this as an expression of our gratitude.
A Mass will be offered for your intentions, February 3, 2024 SMA, Blackrock at 7pm.
