DOWNES, Dermot (Templeogue), February 3, 2018, (peacefully) in the care of the wonderful staff on Lynn Ward in Tallaght Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Will be deeply missed by his heartbroken wife Kay (Kathleen), daughters Brideen, Maeve and Áine, brothers Brian and David, grandchildren Hugh, Niamh, Aoife, Áine, Grace, Ros and Martha, sons-in-law David Gormally, David Rutley and Philip Hanley, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, his neighbours, carers Patricia and Kristina and a wide circle of family and friends. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum today (Tuesday), from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday), February 7 at 12 noon in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan followed by cremation in Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to Muscular Dystrophy Ireland.

DOWNES, Dermot (Templeogue)- Remembered with love on the First Anniversary of his death by all his family. We would like to thank everyone especially his neighbours and friends for all the love and support shown during this difficult year. He will be forever in our hearts. Kay, Brideen, Maeve and Aine.
