KILLALEA, Donal Francis - November 23, 2015 - On the First Anniversary of the death of Donal Killalea, our beloved Husband, Dad and Grandad, his wife Mary, his sons Donal and Vincent, his daughter Karen together with son-in-law Orazio, daughter-in-law Karolina and his adored grandchildren, Vincenzo, Lorenzo, Fabio and Kayah send their sincere thanks to all our extended family, friends, neighbours, the members and staff of Elm Park Golf Club and former work colleagues for all their kindness and support at the time of Donal's death and in the past year. Sincere thanks to Dr. John Holian and all the wonderful and compassionate staff of the ICU at S.V.U.H., for their care and support for Donal in his final days and for their kindness to us, his family. To Dr. Martin Quinn, heartfelt thanks for his outstanding commitment to and care of Donal for many years. A special thank you to Fr. John Delaney of St. John the Baptist Parish in Blackrock for his kindness, humanity and pastoral care to the whole family. Our thanks also to Carnegies Funeral Home and to the staff of the Beaufield Mews who took great care of us on the day of Donal's funeral. Your professionalism was outstanding. To all who called to us, who travelled long distances for the removal and the funeral, who sent letters and cards, who prepared food and who helped us to remember what a wonderful person Donal was, we thank you.
