COWIE, Anne (née Farmer), Blessington, Co Wicklow. July 24, 2021. Beloved wife, of 47 years, to Alan; Mum to Alison and Tim, Angus and Shona. Loving Nan to Hamish, Daniel, and Ciara. She will be sadly missed by Charles Horton and Myra Murphy, and her extended family and friends in Scotland, Ireland, and Colorado. Our thanks to everyone at Blessington Family Practice, the local Public Health Nurses and McGreal’s Pharmacy, who all took such great care of Anne at home. We will always be grateful to Dr David Fennelly and the wonderful staff at St. Luke’s Hospital Rathgar, and to the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice Harold’s Cross for their comfort and caring. Funeral to Newlands Cross Crematorium on Thursday arriving for 10.40 Service. No flowers, please, but if you wish to hold a sprig of Anne’s favorite lavender or rosemary at the time of her funeral to remember her. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society or Our Lady’s Hospice Harold’s Cross. Given the exceptional climate and to protect everyone who knew Anne, the funeral service is for 50 persons.
