USHIODA, (née Mizoguchi) Yoshiko (Glenageary, Co. Dublin and late of Ishige, Ibaraki, Japan) - (recipient of the Japanese Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, former Japanese Curator of the Chester Beatty Library, Dublin) - January 31st, 2024, peacefully in the loving care of Altadore Nursing Home, Glenageary. Beloved wife of the late Dr Satoshi Ushioda and dearly loved mother of son Kazi and daughter Ema. Sadly missed by her family, daughter-in-law Marie and grandsons Cian and Eric, by her sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and other relatives, former colleagues and friends in Ireland and Japan. Reposing (Friday) (February 2nd) in Quinn's of Glasthule from 4pm to 6pm. Removal Saturday (February 3rd) to the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium arriving for 3.15pm Funeral Service. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace. No flowers. House Private. Donations, if desired, to the Beaufort Day Care Centre, Glasthule
