STEPHENS - William (Bill, Willie) (Glasnevin, Dublin). As we lovingly remember Willie on the First Anniversary of his death, March 3, 2021, his wife Helen and daughters Jocelyn, Ailbhe and Sandra would like to express how much we loved Willie and miss him every day. We wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us, for the many letters, calls, flowers, Mass and sympathy cards, and messages of condolence on rip.ie. It was so very sad that due to Covid restrictions, so few people could be with us at his funeral mass, we know his many friends from Aer Lingus and De la Salle Palmerston RFC would have liked to attend along with his many other dear friends, relatives, and acquaintances. We would like to thank all those who watched Willie’s funeral online and those who joined us at the funeral home and outside the church, your presence was a great comfort to us. We are very grateful to all our wonderful neighbours and friends who gathered outside his home to honour Willie and bid him farewell, it meant so much to us. Our most sincere thanks to all the carers and medical staff who helped look after Willie. We are heartbroken that Willie is no longer with us. He will always be in the hearts of his wife, daughters, sons in law, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchild, nieces, nephews and all who knew him.
