WHITTY, John - September 23, 2015 (late of Templeogue and Scoil Carmel), following a brief illness, in the care of the staff at Tallaght Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Yvonne, and adored father of his sons Sean and Darragh, and his daughter Nuala. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, his mother Brigid, father Richard, sisters Mary Whitty and Susan McMahon, brother Richard, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family, colleagues, friends and neighbours. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road, today (Saturday) from 3pm until 5pm and also on Monday until his removal to St. Pius X Church, Templeogue arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday at 11.30am followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium (Victorian Chapel) arriving for 1.30pm. Family flowers only please. House private. Donations if desired to The Simon Community. Donation boxes will be available at John's Funeral Mass. Enquiries please to Fanagans Funeral Directors 01 4925959.
