O'DOWDA (George) (died January 2, 2005) - George's wife Dympna, his daughter Anne-Marie, brother Charlie and his extended family wish to thank most sincerely all who supported them during their difficult time. To those who offered help of any kind; attended the funeral services, many of whom travelled long distances; sent mass and sympathy cards, telephoned or sent letters of sympathy, or donated so generously to the Bishop's Tsunami relief appeal, we extend our gratitude. In particular, we want to thank Doctor Hayes of the Navan Road and the doctors and nursing staff in the A & E department and in St Theresa's ward, Mater hospital for the excellent care and attention provided. We also thank George's many hospital visitors, especially Rev. Tim Irvine for his constant attention and Archdeacon David Pierpoint for his assistance, concern and availability at all times. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
