Your prayers and support, kind words and expressions of sympathy were greatly appreciated. Our gratitude to the many people who participated in the guards of honour, joined in the live streaming of her funeral mass and gathered to join Brenda on her final journey and say goodbye. We would like to thank in a special way Fr. Turlough Baxter for his visits to Mum, his prayers at our home, officiating at the funeral mass and burial. Our thanks also to Fr. James McKiernan and Fr. Ciaran McGovern who concelebrated as well as to Derek Mahedy for the beautiful music. We remember too with deep appreciation the wonderful care Mum received from Dr. Padraig McGarry, Public Health Nurses and the Palliative Care Team. Our thanks to Martin Glennon of Glennon’s Funeral Directors for his professionalism and dignity in attending to all the necessary arrangements.
