DUFFICY, Jerome, Ballincar, Sligo (ex Coillte) - August 20, 2012, peacefully after an illness borne with dignity at North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo. Dearly loved and will be much missed by his wife Máire and their family Colm, Sarah, Paula, Máire, Kevin and Anna, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in Peace. Reposing at the family home in Ballincar from 2.00pm to 9.00pm today, Tuesday. Home private to family on Wednesday morning. Mass of the resurrection at 12 noon on tomorrow, Wednesday in St. Colmcille's Church, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo. Burial follows in Rosses Point Cemetery. No flowers, donations in lieu if desired to IMNDA (Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association) or North West Hospice Fund c/o Feehily's Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo.
DUFFICY Jerome (Sligo) - On the First Anniversary of Jerome's death, Maire and family, Colm, Sarah, Paula, Kevin and Anna wish to acknowledge the kindness of friends and colleagues who consistently supported Jerome through his illness. We also wish to express our gratitude to all who attended his funeral, called to the house, sent Mass cards, letters and tributes. Special thanks to staff of HSE, IMNDA, North West Hospice, Irish Wheelchair Association, Carers Association and Drumcliff Family Practice for their absolute kindness to Jerome. Thank you also to Monsignor Dolan for celebrating his funeral Mass and to Co. Sligo Golf Club choir for their musical contribution. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
