HEFFERNAN, (née O'Byrne) Mary (Cabinteely, Dublin 18 and formerly of Ballon, Co. Carlow) - April 15, 2022. Peacefully with her family by her side in the kind care of the staff in St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Treasured and much loved wife of Pat and loving Mum to Deirdre (Kelly), Conor, Cormac, Fergal and Neil and adored sister of Gerard, John and William. Predeceased by her brothers, Edward, Donal, Hugh and her grandson baby David James. Mary will be very sadly missed by son-in-law David, daughters-in-law Katharine, Eimear and Shontelle, by her much loved grandchildren, Adam, Shauna, Eamon, Juliet, Ciara, Donncha, Ailbhe, Rory, Darragh, Ana, Patrick, Grace, Cian and Eoin, her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and her wide circle of friends. Reposing tomorrow (Tuesday) at Carnegie’s Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94XK28) from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday 20th April at 11.30am in St. Brigid’s Church, Cabinteely, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road, Kilternan. A special thanks to our local clergy, Frs Aquinas, Tom and Arthur for their support and prayers and to Bishop Denis Nulty for his presence at the funeral Mass. To all those who visited the funeral home, attended the funeral Mass or called to the house, we are deeply grateful and to the many people who wrote to us, we will always treasure the memories of your kindness and help. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
