O'BEIRNE, Martina, (Walkinstown/Greystones) On Martina's behalf her husband Barry, daughters Jenny and Martha and son Ian, her sisters Grainne and Mary, brothers Aidan and Thomas and son-in-law Lyle would like to thank most sincerely all of those who sympathised with us all on the sudden and heart-breaking loss of a loving wife and mother. To all of those who called to our family home, sent Mass cards and took the time to write wonderful letters of their fond memories of Martina, the very kind words they expressed were of enormous comfort to us all. For all those who attended the funeral Mass, some travelling far distances to do so, this was very much appreciated. To Fr. Denis Quinn we are forever grateful for the loving and warm service that he conveyed. Many thanks to all of those who participated in various aspects of the beautiful Mass and especially to her sisters Grainne and Mary who arranged most of it and made it so personal. For the wonderful music and songs, to Greystones Folk Group (which Martina had a been a member of) Maeve, Kate, Bernadine and Colm, thank you. Martina fought a tough battle with her illness and although she finally lost that battle we would like to sincerely thank all the doctors, Emergency Services and staff at St. John of God's Hospital, The Rutland Centre and Cuan Mhuire for all the efforts they made to assist Martina with her recovery. A special word of thanks to all of Martina's wonderful neighbours in particular Joan and Mick and Dee and Shay and to many of Martina's wonderful close friends who never gave up on her in particular Denise, Eleanor, Maeve and Tony. We would also like to thank most sincerely Patricia and all of the staff at Murphy's Funeral Directors, Bray who were kind, considerate and understanding. Martina would be very pleased indeed. Lastly to thank most sincerely Jenny's friend Claire of the Bear Paw who provided the food and Justin and his staff at Greystones RFC for all that they provided. On behalf of Martina and her family our heartfelt thanks to you all. Barry O'Beirne. Martina's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, August 26 at 11.00am in The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones.
