Sincere sadness
Only today while my wife Lyla and myself originally from whitefriar st. We're wondering how Fr Heaslip was now. We decided to search online and to our great sadness learned of his recent passing. This was so sad for us both as we were both members of the boys and girls youth club which he ran so well. He also returned to the parish upon request by Lyla and I to perform our wedding ceremony which was 30 years ago on Nov 30th last. He was such a loss to the parish when he left. He was sorely missed by all. He was truly a kind gentle person. Deepest sympathy. Lyla and Ken Fagan.
