SMYTH, Christopher J. (Christy) (Windmill Lodge, Mullaghea, Kells, Co. Meath) - July 30th 2023, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Christy was deeply loved by his wife Adela, sons Alan (Galway), Gordon (Lavey), daughter Alison (Atlanta). He was a loving and proud Papa to his five grandchildren, Cian, Dylan, Finn, Charlie and Erin. He will be greatly missed by his two sisters Renee Ryan (Hurdlestown) and Margaret McGovern (Balrath), son-in-law Tom, daughters-in-law Siobhan and Lorraine, sister-in-law Rosaleen, brothers-in-law Michael (Carlow), and Fr Austin (USA), his many nephews and nieces, former business colleagues, neighbours, many friends and the wider golfing community, particularly his beloved Headfort Golf Club. Rest in Peace Reposing at his home (A82 Y5P1) on Tuesday, 1st August, from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday (2nd August) to St Ciarán's Church, Carnaross, arriving for 12 noon funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St Colmcille's Cemetery, Kells. House private at all other times, please. Family flowers only.
