O'SULLIVAN, (Glasheen, Cork and Courtmacsherry, Co. Cork): On December 4, 2023, peacefully, in the excellent care of Cork University Hospital and in the presence of his family, TED (ex Togher Boys’ National School), beloved husband of Eilis and loving father of Cormac, Enda, Úna and Cian, father-in-law of Deirdre, Antoine, Clodagh and the late Kay, precious grandfather of Senan, Ailbhe, Kevin, Aisling, Ciaran, Yann, Louis, Ciara, Donnacha and Conor. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd: On today (Thursday) (December 7) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. Requiem Mass at 11.00am on tomorrow (Friday) (December 8) in the Church of the Way of the Cross, Togher. Funeral afterwards to St. James’ Cemetery, Chetwynd. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Society of St Vincent de Paul. “May he rest in peace”
O'SULLIVAN - Ted, December 4, 2023, Acknowledgement and First Anniversary. On the First Anniversary of Ted's death, his family, wife Eilis, Cormac, Enda, Ãna and Cian would like to thank most sincerely all those who attended his removal and Funeral Mass. Our gratitude to Fr John Walsh who celebrated the Mass and made it so special. Our thanks also to the excellent choir of Togher Boys School. We truly appreciated all the Mass cards, letters and kind messages on rip.ie. We are particularly grateful to all those who travelled to be with us over the few days. We extend our thanks to Dr Teddy Murphy and to the doctors, nurses, paramedics and chaplain Fr Kieran O'Driscoll who cared so well for Ted during his time in CUH. Our thanks to our many great friends who supported us during Ted's illness and who still continue to help us during these difficult times. The professionalism of Jerh. O'Connor and Sons Funeral Directors was appreciated by all the family. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all.
