SEMPLE William (Bill) Died October 27, 2019. Bill's daughter Ann, grandson Alan and granddaughter Jennie would like to thank their relatives and many friends for all their care and support since his peaceful passing. We wish to express our thanks to Rev. Ian Gallagher, Rev. Gillian Wharton and Rev. Robert Marshall, the choir, organist and parishioners of St. Brigid's and All Saint's, Stillorgan, for the very special funeral service. Thanks to the Mothers' Union and many parishioners for the refreshments served in the hall and the kindness shown to the family. Thank you to all who expressed their sympathy by card, letter or in person and to those who donated to the Irish Heart Foundation in lieu of flowers. The expressions of condolences and words of kindness will be treasured. He will be sadly missed by his family, especially his great-granddaughters Elsie, Aimee and Beth and his many friends from the United Churches Association and Herbert Park Bowling Club. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation at this sad time.
