LANGFORD, Richard (Kilcosgriff, Shanagolden, Co. Limerick) - September 28, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Dearly loved father of Richard, Andrew and William. He will be greatly missed and sadly mourned by his extended family, friends and his wife Gill. Reposing at his home on Wednesday from 4.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral Service in St Mary's Church of Ireland, Askeaton on Thursday at 2.00pm followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

<p>To a gentle giant</p> <p>In memory of a kind and caring man with a heart as warm as a coal fire but with a tongue as sharp as a razor blade! I won't forget the friendly jibes at my taste for a bit of extra tarragon, the drop off at the bus that I missed and my Cavan routes. But I won't also forget the level headed advice that both Richard and Dorothy gave to me and my best friend Andrew when we faced some troubles at school or college. Two lives both cut far too short but that also gave so much to so many people. Richard, you will be greatly missed.</p>
