McSWEENEY - John (Killiney, Co Dublin late of Limerick) October 11, 2021. John's wife Pauline, children, grandchildren and John's extended family are profoundly grateful for the consolation and love we have received following John's untimely death. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the service and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. A special thanks to Father Kennedy for the beautiful Mass, John's former classmates from 43rd Cadet Class, former colleagues from I.D.A., ESB and Savvi Credit Union and those who donated to the Irish Cancer Society in memory of John. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all who cared for John so lovingly during his short illness, in particular the nursing team from Blackrock Hospice, Public Health Nurses and Pat Tyrell from Irish Cancer Society. A dedicated mass in memory of John will be held at 10.15am on Sunday, November 28, in St Joseph's Church, Glasthule. All welcome.
