BROGAN, Jim (The Quay, Kinvara, Co. Galway formerly of Brogans Bar and Restaurant, Ennis, Co. Clare and New York). October 13, 2022 peacefully in Milford Care Center, Limerick surrounded by his family Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen his, his parents Bridget and Michael and his brothers, Enda and his sister Breda He will be greatly missed by his daughter Karen her husband Nigel, grandchildren Jessica and Jemma. His siblings Ann, Maura, Gerry, Bernadette, Josette, Paddy, Michael, Finbarr Declan Vincent, and Colm, his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the Corless Funeral Home, Kinvara this (Friday) evening from 4.00pm. with removal at 7.00pm to St Colman’s Church Kinvara. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 1.30pm followed by interment in in Mount Cross Cemetery. Mass may be viewed at The Ballinderreen and Kinvara Parish Facebook Page. Just saw this, met Jim in New York in the summer of 1973 when I was an 18 year-old student on a J1. He was such a generous and warm and hospitable person, as was his family, I’ve never forgotten his kindness, even half a century later.
