TURVEY, Desmond Edwin, (April 1, 1928 - January 1, 2014) - On this day, six months after the death of our beloved Des; Margaret, Brian, Aileen, Sheila, Conor and family wish to thank all who have so kindly sympathised with us during these very sad and difficult months. The overwhelming numbers have made it impossible for us to contact everyone individually. Thank you to the celebrants of the Funeral Mass at St. Fintans Parish Church, Fr. William Stuart, Monsignor John Fitzpatrick, Fr. Joseph Dargan S.J. (sadly since deceased), Fr. Noel Barber S.J., Fr. Liam Lacey and Des's dear cousin Canon Richard Firth. We would also like to thank all who attended the Mass, especially those who travelled long distances, all who tuned in on the webcam, sent Mass offerings, wrote letters, made contact by telephone and those who keep supporting us in so many ways. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered. Mass is being offered for you today.
