PIGGOTT (née Duffy), Brigid - July 12, 2016 (Avenue House, Gort, Co. Galway and formerly of Knock Roe, Attymon, Co. Galway) (peacefully) in the loving care of her family, loving wife of predeceased husband Pearse and son Neill, her sister Mai (Counihan), brothers Larry, Jimmy and Seán (Duffy); sadly missed by her daughters Elaine, Keane (Limerick) and Catherine (Gort, Galway), sons Raymond, Pearse, Gabriel and Guaire, son-in-law Ralph, daughters-in-law Maura, Noelle, Katrina and Sinead, precious nana to her loving grandchildren and great-grandchild; Brigid will be deeply missed by her sisters Kitty, Devereux (Portarlington) and Eileen O'Connor (Kildare), sisters-in-law Sheila, Mary and Maura (Duffy), brother-in-law Hugh O'Connor, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends and community. Reposing this (Wednesday) evening at her residence Avenue House from 5.00 o'clock to 8.00 o'clock Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to St. Colman's Church, Gort for Requiem Mass at 1.30 o'clock Burial afterwards in Labane Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
PIGGOTT Brigid (Avenue House, Gort) (First Anniversary, July 12,2016) - Her children, Neil R.I.P., Elaine, Catherine, Raymond, Pearse, Gabriel, Guaire and extended family, express their sincere gratitude to all who supported Brigid and all who sympathised with us. A special thank you to Brigid's carers, to Cannon Tommy Marrinan, Fr. Gearóid, Shane Counihan, her guards of honour and John Sullivan and staff for their support. As it would be impossible to thank you all individually, we trust that this acknowledgement, will be accepted by you as a token of our heartfelt and sincere appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass, has been offered for all of your intentions.Your life was love and labour.
