NOLAN, David (Rathmines and the Ward) (Nolan’s Family butchers, Rathmines) December 4, 2023. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Cedar Ward at St Vincent’s Private Hospital. Son of the late Paddy and Kay Nolan. David will be sadly missed by his wife Orla (née Fitzgibbon), his loving sons Andrew, Paul and Stuart, daughter-in-law Mary, Andrew’s partner Shauna and her daughter Aoife, his beloved grandchildren Alexandra and her mother Nicola, Hannah and Theadora, his sisters Mary and Valerie, brother John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road on this (Wednesday) evening (December 6) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral service will take place on tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon (December 7) commencing at 3.15pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross followed by cremation. Family flowers only – donations if desired to Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold's Cross.

NOLAN - David (December 4, 2023). (Rathmines and late of The Ward) - At the time of his first anniversary, we remember David with great love, fondness of memory and sadness at his loss. He is in our hearts and thoughts every day. We would like to thank all those who helped celebrate his life and who have supported us throughout the year. We greatly appreciate all those friends, family and loyal customers who joined us at Fanagan's Funeral Home and Mount Jerome for the Funeral Service. Our thanks also to the Fanagan directors and staff for their support; James and Shauna in Westfield Funeral Home; Alan Massey and his staff for their kindness; those who joined us through web camera and those who sent letters, cards and messages; also the doctors and nurses in St Vincent's Private Hospital who took such good care of David during his illness. We will always remember you. Orla, Andrew, Paul and Stuart.
