KNOWLES Walter John (Wally) May 31, 2015 - On this the First Anniversary of the death of our beloved Dad, his daughters Catherine, Grainne, Dara, Orla and Sheila together with their families, wish to express their sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our huge loss. To all those who sent messages of sympathy, Mass cards, floral tributes, support and kindness. We would like to thank all the staff of Altadore Nursing Home for their wonderful and loving care of Wally, particularly in the last week of his life. Sincere thanks also to Quinns Funeral Home for the dignified and professional manner in which they arranged the funeral. Thanks also to Wally's lifelong friends and also his friends and colleagues in Dun Laoghaire Golf Club, Dun Laoghaire Rotary Club, the Ski Club of Ireland, Blackrock Athletic Club and the Electrical Industry. The First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey today May 28 at 6pm.
