SWEENEY, John (Life Honorary Member, Clontarf Golf Club) – October 5th, 2020 (peacefully) at Beaumont Hospital, in the presence of his family. Beloved husband of Maura and the late Yvonne. Father of Tony, Irene and the late Eithne, and brother of the late Gerard. Very sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Moira, Cora and Terry, grandchildren, extended family, neighbours, and a large circle of friends. May he Rest in Peace. A private family funeral will take place, due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. SWEENEY - John, October 5, 2020. On this the First Anniversary of John's death, the Sweeney Family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and offered kindness and support at the time of his passing and

over the past year. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, many of those who would have wished to attend the funeral could not be there but they expressed their support and sympathy with Mass cards, letters and contact through various other means. Please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of our thanks and deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
