BURKE Sr. Vincent (Rita) Ursuline Sisters, Sandyford Village, formerly of Limerick - October 22, 2012, in the loving care of the staff of St. Vincent's University Hospital and the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook; sadly missed by her Ursuline Community, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews, great-grandnieces and nephews, her many friends especially those in Sandyford Parish. R.I.P. She ministered for many years in Brecon, South Wales, also in Thurles, Kenya and Cabinteely. Reposing in St. Vincent's Mortuary Chapel today (Wednesday) with removal to St. Mary's Church, Sandyford arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 11 o'clock Burial afterwards in the Ursuline Convent Cemetery, Thurles.

<p>A great teacher</p> <p>I was really saddened to hear of Sister Vincent's death. She was my headmistress in Brecon for many years and although a great disciplinarian and teacher, she was firm but fair with a sometimes unexpected sense of humour. Many's the time I stood outside her office for all sorts of misdemeanours wondering about the severe tongue lashing I was about to get!!! She made a huge impression on my life. Rest in peace Sister.</p>
