HOEY, (Hoy) née Keaney, Carmel ( Clontarf, Dublin - Ferrybank, Waterford - Sutton, Dublin and formerly Raheny) - 31st May 2020 Peacefully at home after a long illness borne with quiet faith and fortitude. Beloved and loving wife of Vincent, adored mother of Kevin, Clodagh and Emer and mother in law of Mary, Declan and Henry; loving Grandma of Oisin, Peter, Niamh, Caoimhe, Sarah, Luke, Kate and Conor; sister of Kathleen and Teresa (predeceased by Maura, Paddy, Sean and James). Carmel will be deeply missed by her family, relations and friends. Regrettably, in accordance with current guidelines, Carmel’s funeral will be private. There will be a Memorial Mass at a later date. Family flowers only, donations if you wish to St Francis Hospice www.sfh.ie. The family would like to thank the carers and medics for their help and guidance over the years.

This was my mum auntie, my mums mum was Maura Keaney. We didn’t have much contact with the Keaney side of the family but my mums speaks fondly of her Auntie Carmel. My condolences and prayers to you. Kind regards Julio miguel hidalgo page
