O'SULLIVAN, (Newbridge, Co. Kildare and late of Waterford and Kilkenny and Ulster Bank, Newbridge), August 27, 2016 (peacefully), after a very long illness bravely borne Brendan, beloved husband of Anne, and loving father of Mark (NY) and Jennifer. He will be very sadly missed by his wife, children, his mother Alice, daughter-in-law Chastity, his siblings Anne and Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends, and the nurses and staff of Lourdesville Nursing Home where he was cared for with such love over the last 18 years. May Brendan Rest in Peace. Reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Newbridge this (Monday) from 6 o'c until 8.30 o'c with prayers at 8 o'clock Funeral to arrive at the Dominican College Church tomorrow (Tuesday) morning for Mass at 11 o'clock Burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to MS Ireland. Donations Box in the Church. Funeral Home private on Tuesday morning please.
O'SULLIVAN, Brendan (Newbridge) August 27 2016. On this the eve of the First Anniversary of Brendan's death, his wife Anne, son Mark, daughter Jennifer, daughter-in-law Chastity, mother Alice and extended family wish to thank most sincerely all of those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. The family thank you for your Mass cards, letters of condolences, prayers, visits to our home and your generous charitable donations to the M.S. Society. We are most grateful to Fr. Paul Dempsey, Fr. Hugh Lee and Fr. Jimmy Doyle who concelebrated Brendan's Funeral Mass. Thanks also to Anderson Leahy, funeral directors, for their professional service and also to Owen Lynch for the beautiful music. To the staff of Lourdesville Nursing home we extend our sincere thanks for the care and love Brendan received during his long stay. As it would be impossible to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
