MURPHY, Patrick (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) March 4, 2019. Peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his family after a long illness bravely endured. Beloved husband of Barbara and adored father of Katie and Luke; and son of the late Joan. Sadly missed by his wife, son, daughter, father Stephen, sisters Eileen, Siobhan and Orla, brother Declan, brothers-in-law Frank (Curry), Frank (Smith), David and Cormac, sisters-in-law Sarah and Tracey, nieces Ruby, Niamh, Aoife, Ailbhe, Sadbh and Rachel, nephews Rory, Evan, Finn, Stephen, Donnchadh and Matthew, extended family and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing this (Wednesday) evening at his home from 4pm to 7pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Patrick’s life will take place tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 11.30am in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown followed by cremation in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6w. MURPHY, Patrick (Paddy) (Clashaphuca, Ballyroe, Tralee, Co. Kerry) - His brother Eddie, sister Kathleen (Slattery) and families, wish to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement, to those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, floral tributes and all who attended the removal, Requiem Mass and funeral. A special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Bon Secours Hospital, Kerry General Hospital, Fairies Cross Medical Centre for the loving care, dignity and respect shown to Paddy. Also to Fr. Padraig Walsh P.P. and Fr. Patsy Lynch C.C., St Brendan's Parish, to Fr. Sean Hanafin P.P., St John's Parish and Fr. Ted Lenihan, Chaplain, Kerry General Hospital. To his great neighbours Dick and Angela and his many friends old and new whom he met down the "Green". The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
