TRAVERS, Society of African Missions, (late of Cookstown, Co. Tyrone and African Missions, Dromantine, Newry, Co. Down) - October 2, 2017, (peacefully), at the Society of African Missions, Blackrock Road, Cork, Rev. Fr. John, much loved brother of Betty (Vickers) and the late Kathleen (Hearne) and Nancy (Jones); deeply regretted by his sister, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand nephews, relatives and friends and his SMA confreres. Fr. Travers is also mourned by Cardinal Sean Brady, Archbishop Eamon Martin, the clergy and people of the Archdiocese of Armagh. Reposing at the African Missions, Dromantine, Newry, from 6pm to 10pm this (Wednesday) evening. Removal at 11.15am tomorrow (Thursday) to the Holy Trinity Church, Chapel Street, Cookstown for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in St. Luran's Cemetery, Cookstown.Requiescat in Pace
