ARCHER Eric (Greystones, Co. Wicklow, founding member of Greystones Rugby Club) - June 29, 2017, (peacefully) in his 98th year, in the excellent care of the staff at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin, beloved husband of Ruth for over 63 years, much loved father of Yvonne, Gillian, Derek, Robin and Douglas; he will be greatly missed by all his family, relatives and friends. Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray this (Friday) evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Service tomorrow (Saturday) at 11.00am in St. Patrick's Church, Church Road, Greystones followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, The Grove, Greystones. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to RNLI or ISPCA can be made at the funeral home or church.

Wicklow) (June 29, 2017) - On the occasion of this First Anniversary Eric's family wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us at the time of Eric's passing. Thank you to all those who attended the removal and funeral service, for all your cards and messages of condolences. We would particularly like to acknowledge the friendship and kindness shown by Dr. Brendan Cuddihy who went above and beyond to keep Eric going to his great age. Thanks also to The President, past Presidents, officers and staff of Greystones RFC and the Guard of Honour provided by the junior members. A special thanks also to Archdeacon Edgar Swann, Canon David Mungavin and Rev. Alan Breen for a celebration of a long and happy life. Their kindness and humour helped to lift everyone's spirit on the day. Thanks to Colliers Funeral Directors. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation to all and especially to his loyal and valued friends.
