FIELD Jack (Kilmacud and Donnybrook, Dublin) - February 6, 2017, at Newtownpark Avenue Nursing Home, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. For the last four years, since the death of his dear wife Carmel, Jack enjoyed peace, comfort, friendship and more than a few laughs in Newtownpark. He knew he was in a special place and both he and his family were constantly amazed with the care and friendship he received from the dedicated staff. He found new friends and had wonderful companionable house mates. Family, exceptional nieces, nephews and friends were regular and devoted visitors to Jack and brightened his days. Jack lived a long life and touched most peoples lives by his good humour and easy disposition. "To have known him, to have loved him". He will be missed by his children, Barry, Emer, Crionna, John and Aisling. His sons-in-law, George, Tom, John and his daughers-in-law, Joan and Catherine. His brother Jim, sister Margaret; sisters-in-law Betty F, Betty B. and Sheila and his fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Reposing today (Wednesday) at Newtown Park House Nursing Home,from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Thurdsay) at Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook arriving at 9.50am for 10.00am, followed by burial in Deansgrange CemeteryMay he rest in peace
