BARR, Marie Denise (Rathgar, Dublin and formerly St. Oran’s Road, Buncrana, Co. Donegal) - December 3, 2023 in the loving care of all the Medical and Nursing staff in the HASA Unit at St. James’s Hospital; beloved wife of Mike (Pomeroy) and loving mother of Elizabeth and David. Very deeply regretted by her brother Peter, son-in-law Tyler, daughter-in-law Paula, grandchildren Aaron and Peter, mother-in-law Celine, sister-in-law Val, brothers-in-law Oliver and Victor, niece Kate, relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by her parents Paddy and Bridie Barr and sister-in-law Jackie Pomeroy. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on (Tuesday) evening from 5.00 o’c until 7.00 o’c. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Mass and burial on Saturday at 11.00am at St. Mary’s Chapel, Cockhill, Buncrana. Marie is a retired member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and Irish Tax Institute and a proud member of Kildare Street and University Club and Royal St. George Yacht Club.
