COUNIHAN, Jerome (Jerry) (Shankill and formerly Monkstown, Co. Dublin, Past President of the Association of Referees of the Leinster Branch and late of Dun Laoghaire G.C.) May 26, 2021. Unexpectedly, at St Vincent's University Hospital, after great care from all the staff at Tara Care Centre, Bray. Predeceased by his parents Col. Jerome E. and Patricia (Peggy). Beloved husband of Lorna and devoted Dad of Jerome D. and Shane. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, siblings Eleanor (Baynes), Anne (Fox), Maurice, Michael, Ian and Martin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts Anne (Dennehy) and Kay (Counihan), nieces, nephews and friends. May he rest in peace. Due to current government restrictions, a family funeral will take place privately. The Funeral Mass can be viewed tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11.00am using the following link: https://monkstownparish.ie/webcam/. Messages in lieu of attendance can be left in the ‘Condolences’ section on www.www.irishtimes.com. Family flowers only please.
