SHANKEY Dermot (Mike) (Rathgar, Dublin 6) (retired Master Mariner) - August 13, 2014, (peacefully) in his 84th year, in the excellent care of the staff at St. James's Hospital; beloved husband of Ann (née Lloyd), loving father of Michael, Carolyn (Burns), Mark and Jonathan, adoring Grandad to Megan, Rachel and Alex (Burns), Rosemary and Poppy and Ava and Tomas; loved and remembered always by his family, son-in-law Geoffrey, daughters-in-law Sarah and Amanda, his extended family and good friends. Funeral Service on Saturday (August 16) at 2.30 o'clock in Mount Jerome Victorian Chapel, Harold's Cross. No flowers please.
