PORTER - (née Rickerby), Anne Elizabeth, formerly of Shillelagh, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully, at her home, in Linlithgow, on 8 January 2026, aged 72 years. Daughter of the late Jack Rickerby and Doreen Rickerby (née Hennessy), Anne was the dearly loved wife of Charlie, devoted mother to Scott and Craig, cherished mother-in-law to Shannon, and adored grandmother to Isla and Charlotte. She will be sadly missed by her sister Daphne, brother-in-law Ray and family, and a wide circle of friends and extended family. A service to celebrate Annes life will take place on Monday, 26 January at 1:45pm (UK time) and will be streamed online for those who wish to join remotely. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be made in Annes memory to Diabetes UK.
