GAVIN Liam, (Manor Close, Kingston, Galway and formerly Castlebar, Co. Mayo), (suddenly) after a short illness, November 23, 2016, beloved husband of Eileen (O'Donohoe) and much loved father of Áine and Tomás. Sadly missed by his wife and children, sister Grace (Conneely), brothers Seán, Séamus and Colm, sisters-in-law Angela, Peggy and Bernie, brothers-in-law Jim and John, extended family and many friends. Reposing at his home this (Friday) evening from 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Private removal tomorrow (Saturday) to St. Ignatius Church, Sea Road, Galway to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery. GAVIN, Liam (Lee Lee) (November 23, 2016) Castlebar, Carlow and Galway - His wife Eileen (O'Donohoe), Áine, Tomás and the extended family thank most sincerely all who generously supported us at the time of Liam's sudden death. We are most grateful to all who attended his removal, Mass and burial. We thank all in Galway County Council, Corrib Catering, Coláiste Iognáid and Wards Hotel for their generosity and kindness. We express our appreciation to friends and colleagues in Coláiste Iognáid Rowing Club and Galway County Council who formed guards of honour after the funeral. We thank everyone who visited, sent messages of sympathy, letters and cards. We are particularly grateful for the spiritual support offered by clergy and others, especially Fr. Martin Downey and all those in the Jesuit Community. Liam was loved by many and will continue to be missed deeply. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered in thanksgiving for Liam's life and your intentions.
