SMITH, John Robert (Jack) (Harbour Road, Arklow, Co Wicklow and formerly of Belfast and Canada) - 19th February 2022, peacefully in the tender care of Wicklow Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Devoted grandad of the late Krystal. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing son Chris, daughter Shelly, their mum Margaret, son-in-law Mick, daughter-in-law Patricia, grandchildren Karen, Stephen, Melissa, Kim and Darren, great-grandchildren, brother Raymond, sisters Audrey and Mildred, brother-in-law Norman, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Jack’s funeral will be celebrated in accordance with current government guidelines. Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm tomorrow (Tuesday). Removal on Wednesday morning at 11.30 to Arklow Presbyterian Church arriving for funeral service at 12 o’clock. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via live-stream www.johnsweeneyandsons.ie/our-webcam/. Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, arriving for service at the Garden Chapel at 2.15pm.
