DIAMOND Colum (Diamo) (Terenure and Rathfarnham) - August 23, 2016, (suddenly), adored youngest son of the late Tommy and Sheila, brother to Noel, Tricia, Keiron and the late Liam, brother-in-law to Ruth, Geraldine and Pat; greatly missed by his loving nephews Scott and Karl, grandnieces Zoe and Ilianna, godchildren Karl Diamond, Ronan McCabe Jnr., Jack Cullen and Ilianna Diamond, his aunts Rosaleen and Peig, cousins and the McCabe family, also by a huge circle of great friends from Templeogue College, St. Mary's Rugby Club, the Irish Women's rugby team and his colleagues at Aon Insurance and the insurance industry. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) evening to Church of St. Pius X, Templeogue arriving at 5.30 o'clock Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11.00 o'c followed by cremation at Mount Jerome. Family flowers only, donations to Doolin Coast Guard would be greatly appreciated. Collection boxes at Church.May he Rest in Peace

Dearly loved son of the late Sheila and Tommy and brother of the late Liam - On the First Anniversary of Colum's death, his sister Tricia, brothers Noel and Keiron, brother-in-law Pat, sisters-in-law Ruth and Geraldine, his nephews Scott and Karl and his extended family wish to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to all of you who supported them at the time of his death. We are most grateful to Fr. Noel Redmond C.S.S.p, Fr. Aquinas Duffy, Fr. Sean Mac Giollarnath O.Carm and Fr. Gerard Cryan and to all the others who contributed in making Colum's Funeral Mass such a wonderful celebration of his life. Also sincere thanks to those who contributed to Doolin Coast Guard. We would especially like to thank the Gardaí of Ennistymon, the Doolin Coast Guard and the Garda Water Unit, the staff of Aon, the wider Insurance Industry, Colum's clients, our friends and colleagues, past pupils, staff and pupils of Templeogue College who provided a Guard of Honour at Colum's funeral. The Irish Womens Rugby Team and the many hundreds of you who attended his Removal, Funeral and Burial. Special thanks to Jody and Robert Fanagan of Fanagans Funeral Directors and to all of you who wrote, sent Mass cards, telephoned and emailed expressing your love for Colum. Many thanks to all of Colum's wonderful friends who continue to be so supportive of us and who cherish his memory. Colum's First Anniversary Mass will take place at 11.30 am Sunday August 27 at St Pius X Church College Drive Templeogue. Our loving and much loved brother, Colum is gone but not forgotten. A Mass will be offered for those who journeyed with us."May he rest in peace"

I was deeply saddened to hear of Colums passing today. I knew him from Marsh times and always thought he was a gentleman in every sense of the word. My deepest condolences to all his family. Ciara Earley.

Brendan Fitzgerald I worked with Colum in Marsh in early 00s so not recently.​Nonetheless I had huge respect and time for him. He had charisma and was a genuine person. Please accept my sincere sympathies in this difficult time. Brendan
