ZAKRZEWSKI - Pierre (Leopardstown and London) (March 14, 2022) The family of Pierre Zakrzewski, of London, UK, and Leopardstown, Co. Dublin wishes to acknowledge the huge volume of expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our recent sad loss. To our wonderful relatives who came to be with us, many from overseas, we thank you for surrounding us with love and support. To all the friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, wrote to us, sent food, messages, and gifts, and to those who attended the funeral, travelled long distances, accommodated our visitors, and made charitable donations in Pierre’s name, we are truly grateful. A special word of thanks to the Fox team and all those who looked for Pierre and helped Michelle to bring him home. To our friends Dragan, Tim, Stefan, Sandrine and Pierre’s many other close friends, we are eternally grateful for your unwavering friendship and guidance in such difficult circumstances.
To those who shared stories, laughed with us, cried with us, and contributed to his unforgettable playlist, you have provided us with many special memories.
We are very grateful to Fr. Kieran Dunne and all the musicians at the mass who were so considerate and helpful, and to Carnegie’s Funeral Directors, for their sensitive and professional handling of the arrangements.
To the Department of Foreign Affairs, the representatives of Ukraine, Poland, France, and U.S.A. and to the Gardaí and the D.A.A., we wish to thank you for your presence and assistance. To all those who have shown us love, comfort and support through what has been the toughest of times, as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. Pierre’s Month's Mind Mass will be held in Foxrock Church at 11.30am on Sunday, April 17, 2022.
